I am having a few tick sound ever since and I already got used to it. So far, everything is perfectly normal on my end.

I don't have any problems with my SSD yet. As far as I know, everything works great on my end for both HDD and SSD.

I also had this problem with NOD32, but when I changed to a different AV, everything changes for good.

I am thinking of upgrading to Windows 8, but would like to know if it will be worth it or should I just save it for later and keep using Windows 7 for now. Any advice?

Could you use the remote monitoring of any other software that does this type of work?

I am currently working on my SSD and I can say that this works best.

I want to learn more about this. As you have said, it shouldn't happen with external HDD. What seems to be the problem?

What if you inserted USB 3.0 on 2.0? Does it make it any faster?

This can be useful especially if you are running a program or copying larger files.
