Dear HD,
Over the past week I have loaded and examined / tried numerous SMART Monitor apps including your's most recently. It appears that it is a labor of love for you and impressive.
A feature that would be most helpful to me an one would think others, would be the ability to either run an applet or even the full distribution on multiple computers within a LAN - in my case my home LAN and have them communicate back to my main PC. Essential a local networked version to allow one to monitor three or four machines from one point.
In today's environment here in the US, it's common to have two, three or four machines that are often used by other family members that have no clue or interest in the technical side of maintaining the systems. While I am tasked with ensuring that operate LOL's. Gaining physical access to the other machine on a regular basis is not practical wherein a remote polling would be so helpful.
Do you have any thoughts on this? Possible already on your design board?
Best Regards,
Ren

Re: Lan version?
Hi Ren,
Of course remote monitoring is possible by the software
Please check Configuration -> Integration page and read the help associated with that page (or online at http://www.hdsentinel.com/help/en , just select "Integration" from the menu on the left).
Method 1) WebStatus
Then the disk status of the remote computer can be inspected by any simple web browser.
Please check this page: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=557#p658
where you can see some sample output.
Method 2) Combined WebStatus
Disk status of two or more computers can be combined to form a single page, showing
(automatically updated) details in a small form, perfect for use as gadget. The page I mentioned above contains instructions about it.
Method 3) Enterprise Server
By using the Hard Disk Sentinel Enterprise Server software, you can remotely monitor any number of computers and get information about disk issues, alerts, events remotely from a centralized computer.
Basically it is designed for corporate environments, but a home network management is also possible without problems.
Please check the page http://www.hdsentinel.com/enterprise.php for more details and if you are interested, I recommend to write me a mail with inquiry about a demo (the demo available online contains only very few functions).

Re: Lan version?
Could you use the remote monitoring of any other software that does this type of work?

Re: Lan version?
No, only Hard Disk Sentinel (Pro / Enterprise versions) allow these kind of hard disk / SSD remote monitoring features.
