Tab for comments

It would be great if in the disk overview where you have tabs for Overview, Temperature, ... there would be a tab where I could enter comments. If there are comments the tab should show a hint in form of a color or whatever so that the user can see at a glance that there is something written at this disk.

Generally, the "comment" field on the Overview tab is designed exactly for this purpose: to enter comment(s) about the actual hard disk there, which may include purchase / installation date, position in a rack, etc.... to help identify the drive.

Or do you prefer to enter more (longer) information for your hard disks?

Yes I would like to enter more information and this in a more structured form. Since the field is there already why not move it to a tab and make the entry field bigger? And the tab should show if there is anything entered so that I know it makes sense to look at comments at this disk. Lets say the tab text is "Comments". Just show this text then in a different color or bold or with anything else if the comment field is not blank so that the user knows here is something.

Yes, I see.
The idea of that field is to show immediately on the overview tab to help identification of the drive quickly but I agree that it may be good idea to add further information / comments, maybe with an option for a such new page. Thanks for the tip, it may be available in a later version.
