I'm using a Syba 4-port controller http://www.sybausa.com/index.php?route= ... lter=16,38
It uses the Marvell 92xx chipset, I did update the drivers to the one http://www.hdsentinel.com/driverzone.php showed for Marvell 9230 chipset and that updated fine but even after restart no additional info besides performance. In MSU I can't enable SMART polling but I assume that's because its an array. Is there a workaround or solution?
Thanks in advanced for any and all help!

Re: Raid detection? Syba SD-PEX40054
Generally yes, the chipset is important - but not all: the BIOS (firmware) and drivers of the controller should also support the special functions required to access drives when hard disks are configured as RAID.
For example, with standard Marvell 91xx controllers it is not possible to access hard disk status when RAID configuration used - but with Highpoint controllers (built with same chipset) Hard Disk Sentinel can access complete hard disk status in that case as those controllers use Highpoint-specific firmware and drivers.
With Marvell 92xx chipset, in theory things will work with the latest version, which should detect all information when RAID configuration used:

Did you try that?
I'd suggest to use Report menu -> Send test report to developer option with that, so then it is possible to examine the situation, verify if some modifications required - or confirm if the controller does not allow accessing the details - then we can discuss with the manufacturer to improve the situation (just like happened with DawiControl - as now their controllers (including the controller with 92xx chipset) are all supported properly now).

I will give that install a go, will it cause me to loose all the guestimate lifespan info and logs from my current version?
Re: Raid detection? Syba SD-PEX40054
Ok, that indeed fixed it. Each drive shows the total size of the array though instead of the drives capacity which is ok since i can now monitor health. I'm running 4x HGST Deskstar NAS 3TB drives if that makes a difference.

No, of course the new version uses all settings, statistics, license details (if any) if you install in the same folder where the previous installed.

Thanks, glad to hear the health status is detected and displayed correctly. I did not see report (maybe you did not send it?)
Yes of course, this is completely normal and expected: the total usable capacity of the array is displayed (when RAID configuration used).
It is independent from the controller and hard disk type/model.
