today I installed HD Sentinel, but my Harddisk Icons are gone, and I dont get them back !
I dont know why there has been this opion to change the drive icons in HDsentinel , this makes no sense.
and now my icons are gone
tried iconcache repair but doesnt help.
Thats a reason not to buy this software... how do I get back my drive icons ?

The icons should reflect the health status of the hard disk.
I suspect your antivirus software issued a false alarm and removed/blocked the files with the icon images (*.ICD files).
To disable this function and restore the icons, just open Configration -> Disk Control and disable the
"Modify default hard disk icons in Windows Explorer".
That's it

I found an other solution: Windows_7_Drive_Icon_Changer_by_FunnyFriend2010
I have just clicked "uninstall" with all drive letters, then my icons were back.

I can't really understand. It should work as it disables the icon change in Hard Disk Sentinel and this restores the default icons.
I suspect maybe there was a conflict with an other software (maybe with the tool you mentioned) and the problem was not (only) related to Hard Disk Sentinel. Anyway, sorry for the troubles.

The problem is likely caused by your antivirus software which blocks the use of icon library (*.ICD) files. If possible, please report them or submit the files to further analyse so they can fix the false alarm.
As described above, please use Configration -> Disk Control and disable the "Modify default hard disk icons in Windows Explorer" option to restore the original icons.
