When I try to perform any kind of self-test an error message saying "Error while starting the test. The error code is: 1" appears. Could you tell me please what this means and how I can start the testing?
What does the error with code "1" mean?

Basically, it is a Windows error code and its meaning is "ERROR_INVALID_FUNCTION".sashagalk wrote:Hi!

This happens if this function is missing from the driver of the hard disk controller. In these case the test cannot be started - even if it is supported by the drive because the hard disk controller driver blocks this function.
If possible, please check if there is an updated driver is available for this controller.
