Exchange server support for email reports

We use a hosted Microsoft Exchange provider for our email, so we don't have an SMTP server available.
Is there any chance the email reports could support Exchange?

Yes, currently e-mails can be sent via SMTP. Looking for the options how to extend to work with Microsoft Exchange.
May I ask Exchange Server version do you use? Then the research and testing will start for that specific version.

That would be great. Our provider uses Exchange 2010.
