Secure Erase an SSD?

In response to an issue I'm having with a Corsair F120GB2 SSD
http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=109484, the fold at Corsair has asked me to do a Secure Erase and suggested using Parted Magic - is this something that HDS can do? (If my understanding is correct you can not do this from Windows, but need to boot into another OS to access this command).

I suspect they mentioned the use of "Secure Erase" ATA command.
Yes, this is not possible under Windows, so I'm afraid it is not possible to use HDS for this purpose.

The above answer is correct.
I have limited experience but have extensively investigated for my own use of an OCZ make of SSD.
SUPPLEMENTARY :-
I believe that there are several different tools available from OCZ for a "Secure Erase" ATA command,
but only one tool will suit each specific SSD firmware.

I am currently working on my SSD and I can say that this works best.
