Upgrade from Standard to PRO Version

Hi,

Two quick questions please

1. I have the Standard version and recently purchased an upgrade key to the PRO version.

Is it best to uninstall the Standard version first or can I do an over the top install with the PRO?

I would be using the same version of PRO

2. If I can do an over the top install with the PRO version will my configuration / preference settings be saved?

No need to uninstall.
Just completely close the current Standard version by File -> Exit and (without uninstallation) install the latest PRO version into the same folder.

Yes: all setting, statistics, logs etc. will remain and will be automatically used by the PRO version after installation. Then register/activate by the license code (similarly as you did with the Standard version):

Please click on "Help" and select "Enter registration key" in Hard Disk Sentinel Pro.

Please enter your name (or nickname) as username (you can use any name, it does not matter) and the new 15 digit license code you received and click on the "Register and activate on-line" button. Then the software should be registered and activated and can be used without limitations.
Make sure that the software need to access the activation server during the activation, so your firewall should not block it.

If the online activation is not possible, then you can use the "Register and activate by e-mail" button to create an un-activated key file (HDSentinel.hds) to the folder of the software. Please send that - and I can activate with your license code and send back the activated file.
