It is not possible to predict whether the heads of the 2.5" HDD + enclosure case are parked after ejecting (safely removing) in Windows 10 because it depends on the HDD model and the USB3.0 enclosure case model, but all of them, regardless of the HDD model and case, enter the parked head state after removing the USB3.0 cable by cutting off the power? How many seconds does it take from removing the USB cable to park the heads in 2013 models?
When you remove the USB3.0 cable from the PC, it comes out quickly and your hand hits the side of the case. Does this cause friction between the HDD heads and the magnetic platters?
i have 2013 models WD10JPVX-08JC3T5 and HGST HTS541010A99E662
