Sorry, an a newbie. So I should run Disk -> Surface test -> Reinitialise disk surface ? That will fix the bad and the weak sectors?
OR is it better just to RMA the drive?

Yes, the Disk -> Surface test -> Reinitialise disk surface test designed to stabilize issues, fix the drive.
As described on the link, weak sectors are usually caused by the operating environment: cables, connections, power supply etc. So you'd need to check that first, before any repair attempts.
So if you RMA the drive but the operating environment is the same, you may experience similar with a new drive too.
