Hi, I am looking for some Info:
I have an:
Asus Rog Maximus X Hero Motherboard
Intel Core i7-8700k CPU
6 SATA controllers are on this motherboard.
I am wanting to know if H/D_Sentinel
can detect which drives are connected to which SATA controllers
EXAMPLE: something like this would be helpful?
********
D:\
Drive Model: WDC WD40EZRX-00SBSDC0
connected to SATA:1
E:\
Drive Model: Samsung SSD 960 EVO 1TB
connected to SATA:3
F:\
Drive Model:WDC WD20EXXR-11SBSCC0
connected to SATA:2
And so on.
Thank You..........

Re: Which_Drive_Is_Connected_to_which_SATA_controller?
Please refer to the Information page which shows the "Disk Controller" field. That shows which disk controller manages the hard disk drive / SSD.
From the viewpoint of the software, I'm afraid the actual port number can't be detected/displayed, but this information can help to know which particular controller used (as some motherboards may have multiple controllers, eg. ASMEDIA / JMicron or other in addition to the controller related to the chipset).
