WD Black won't clear pending sectors

Hello there

I have a WD drive that won't clear it's pending sectors even though I ran "reinitialize disk surface" test about 3 times and in different patterns. Is there any other way to clear the pending sectors?

I'm afraid no... The Reinitialise Disk Surface is the most effective against weak/pending sectors.
As I see, the drive has a very low health of 3% so generally it may not able to work correctly - and even if the sectors are stabilized, we can expect more sectors to become pending (or bad/reallocated).

I see. I thought it was odd it worked on other disks of mine but not this one. It's probably for the better as now it's no longer detected by the computer anymore and it's dead now so that's probably for the better.
