Hard Disk Monitoring

I noticed HDS stopped displaying HDDs in RAID5 config in Adaptec SmartRAID 3154-8i16e controller after I added SSD cache for the RAID5. Drives in SSD cache are detected correctly.

Can you please use Report menu -> Send test report to developer option?
Yes, this can happen if the controller may provide incomplete information - and this is why in this case a developer report can always help to check the actual situation, examine the "raw" response of the controller and examine the possibilities.
