Hard Disk Monitoring

Hello everyone: a few days ago I noticed that the performance of my 2 terabyte HDD was starting to drop but I could not find a way to solve it. It does not have any damaged sectors and yet performance continues to drop. Can someone tell me if it is possible to fix it and how much it affects it?

Generally the Performance value shows if there may be something which can degrade performance. Cables, connections, bad disk controller (chipset) drivers are frequently causing it - and yes, ideally there should be no damaged sectors or so.

Also if you use Report menu -> Send test report to developer option (even multiple times, once as a "base" and then when you see further degradation) these can help: then it is possible to compare and see the new issue(s).
