I tried to start a Repair test on an internal SATA drive today, and got these messages:
27/08/20 9:13:38 Sequential test, Disk: [1] 1863 GB F: WDC WD20EZRX-00D8PB0 [WD-WMC4M1631972] [Repair]
27/08/20 9:13:39 Test ID# detrd64.dll E: System Error. Code: 1072.
The specified service has been marked for deletion
27/08/20 9:13:39 ! Error: 5 Access is denied., Sector: 0
I can do a Read test on the drive, but (as you see) Repair fails.

Re: Error code 1072 starting Repair
Sorry for the troubles. If I'm correct, you already have a Disk Repair test running on a different hard disk drive.
I'm afraid it is not possible to run Disk menu -> Surface test -> Disk Repair test on multiple drives at the same time: as you can see, while one of the test is running, the 2nd one can't start at all.
You can launch any number of other tests, eg. Disk menu -> Surface test -> Read test on multiple drives at the same time - but the Disk Repair test can only run on one disk drive at any given time.

Yes, that is exactly what was happening. Would it be possible for you to show a message that explains the exact reason for the conflict when this happens?
Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion, yes, this may cause less troubles/confusion.
