Hi HDD Sentinel I have some question regarding weak sector
HDD weak sector log WD1003FZEX
I did Disk-Repair but it turned nothing, all green,
In the end it didn't fix anything since it cannot? detect the weak sector? or it stable now?
My question
1. Do I need to reinitialize-test for sake of completeness of test method ?
2. Do I need to adjust the offset so it'll be back to 100%, since HDD is stable now?!?
thank you in advance

Re: Question regarding weak sector and how to fix it
There is a very detailed answer: a complete page describes the weak sectors, gives information about how to diagnose / fix / avoid them.
Please see: Support -> Frequently Asked Questions -> What is a weak sector? How to repair weak sectors?

Yes, generally the Disk menu -> Surface test -> Disk Repair test designed to reveal and stabilize these weak sectors.
However, yes, in some cases the hard disk drive may not automatically decrease the weak sector counter (even if the sectors are stabilized / repaired by this test). In this case, the Disk menu -> Surface test -> Reinitialise Disk Surface test (also suggested on that page) can help as it performs most intensive repairing functionality.
Alternatively, if the status is stable: the Disk Repair test shows no yellow/red spots and the Reinitialise Disk Surface test can't be used, then it is possible to specify the amount of weak sectors with negative sign ( -25 in this case) on the S.M.A.R.T. page, in the Offset column of attribute 197 Current pending sector count. This way those problems will be no longer reported, just possible new issues will be reported in the future.
