Hello and greetings from Berlin.
I have reinstalled Windows 10 and can not find the following setting in the current version 5.30:
My 6x WD Red hard drives should NOT switch off after 4 minutes, if the program HardiskSentinal
is active. The HDDs should therefore be permanently available.

Re: HDDs should not turn off
Hi,
Please open Configuration -> Disk control and in the "Do not allow spin down of disks" field, specify a
*
This would cause a periodic command to be transferred to the device, which then will not enter to sleep mode, will not allow parking the drive heads. So the effect is generally same as the highest Advanced Power Management level setting: the hard disk will run without such pauses / interruptions.
(you may check Disk menu -> Advanced Power Management function: if it's not greyed (so supported by the disk drive), you may try to move the slider to right. Just it may be not supported by the disk drive or the disk controller, but the above mentioned "Do not allow spin down of disks" function should work in all cases).
