Hard Disk Monitoring

I'm running HDS Pro v4.71 (8128) and the "Online Warranty Check" goes to an invalid page for my Western Digital drives. It currently goes here: https://websupport.wdc.com/warranty/ser ... ty&lang=en

Just thought you'd like to fix this on the next update!

NOTE: The HGST (formerly Hitachi) link goes to a working page, but there is no link to such a page for my Intel SSD. Manually, I found that this page works: https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/u ... enter.html But you may want to verify this for yourself.


Off Topic: Is there a reason the [url] BBCode is disabled? We're all adults here (at least most of us! ), and should know to be careful about clicking on links (especially if they can be masked).

Yes, manufacturers from time to time change warranty links.
I'll update HDS to open the new link in the updated version, hopefully this will work for longer time

The URLs are blocked because every day numerous spam messages posted with links pointing to other (not related) sites.
(this is the reason also why posts need to be approved before they appear).
Originally I thought if links are not available, spam senders will attempt less frequent posting, as they'll have no success in posting links to their sites.
