front you put me in a difficult position
, as you both say contradicting things.
But to be honest, hdsentinel wrote this application so I will listen to his advice first. I will wait for his reply towards your post.
Thanks for your interest though.

Excuse me, I'm lost
Can you please tell me what do you feel I wrote incorrectly?
The larger entry (

hdsentinel mistyped when he said that when DetectPerf = 1, HDS will not detect performance, when in fact he meant to type 0. Sorry for the confusion. I'm curious to see if my fix will also work for you soyo.(DetectPerf = 1 and DisablePerfCacheClear = 1)

Yes, previously it was wrong, this is why I summarized then wrote correctly:
".... then create a new STRING key named DetectPerf and specify value of 0 "
Sorry for the confusion caused previously

What you stated will tell his HDS to disable the Disk Performance tab, and my fix might help enable the Disk Performance tab. Worked for me.

He decided to disable the performance tab
The real-time performance related issues depend on the system, Windows and installed software. Even a complete reinstall may have no problems, but different systems may have different solutions
