[3.00] Tray icon font

Post by Jermu »

Hello,

Thanks for adding the possibility to choose the font used in tray icon. However, you didn't test it enough and you missed a situation where the "icon/text" is rendered very poorly.

Check the screenshot below:

Hello,

I suspect the problem is the combination of the cleartype setting + transparent tray icon background.
In this case the cleartype may make improper pixels around the digits - exactly as you see.
Thanks for your attention!
Can you please tell me which OS do you use?
Do you have any special theme-pack installed?
So I can check it and improve the situation.

Thanks for the quick answer.

I'm using WinXP SP3 and I'm using official "Royale" theme from Microsoft. (the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royale_(theme) .. why can't one use [ url ] BBCodes?!)

Thanks, I'll check that theme, I did not try it yet.
Sorry, but URLs must be disabled to prevent SPAM. Unfortunately the forum had lots of phantom registrations just to fill with off-topic links and to prevent further attempts, I needed to disable links.
