I have an issue with 4.20 and now 4.30 that I'd like to report. I have the Pro version.
When I start up HDSentinel, The disk performance tab works correctly, however after running for a few hours (application doesn't have to be open, just in the task bar, If i go back to the disk performance tab, none of the stats update, no matter what disk i click on, and sometimes the stats don't even show. The only way to get it to work again is to quit out and re-open the app.
My system relevant hardware:
Windows Server 2012
LSI 9260-8i RAID controller
Intel RES2SV240 SAS expander
5x Segate ST3000DM001 3TB drives
2X WD WD20EARX 2TB drives
4x Samsung HD204UI 2TB drives
anyone know how to fix this?

Re: Disk performance tab doesn't' work after a while
Most common problems with real time performance monitoring (and the problems caused by the Windows performance counter objects and performance monitoring feature of Windows in general, which is used for this page) are described at
http://www.hdsentinel.com/faq.php#perf
If this and the solutions does not help, the best would be to use Report -> Send test report to developer option as then it would be possible to investigate the situation. More reports would help better to find out possible troubles, for example
1) use Report -> Send test report to developer option on startup
2) use Report -> Send test report to developer option after some minutes (when things work correctly) just to verify the change of the counters
3) use Report -> Send test report to developer option when there is no update on the performance tab
(you may also send screenshot(s) to info@hdsentinel.com at this point)
4) use Report -> Send test report to developer option after restart of the software, when everything works again
These would allow investigating the issue by checking the performance counters and values reported by Windows for Hard Disk Sentinel.
It would be nice to track down what event(s) may cause that performance monitoring stops on your system. For example, insertion / removal of a removable drive (external drive, pendrive, memory card), putting the computer to sleep / standby / hibernate mode or something similar.

Re: Disk performance tab doesn't' work after a while
I have found a work-around to this problem.
First, i close HDSentinal.
Then i run a batch file that has these two commands in it:
diskperf -y
lodctr /r
Then i start HDSentinal back up and all is fine.
Hope this helps!
