Status window
Hello, I just bought HDS family pack this morning but I couldn't seem to figure out if there was a way to make the status window NOT be always on top. I like it better than the gadget version because it works as I expected (ie 1 click drops down the logical disk and free space list double click on an drive and it opens HDS to that drive). If it's on top of all my other apps and makes me have to close it all the time cause it interferes with the app (image viewers, explorer, browsers, etc).

Re: Status window
Dear LurkerLito,
Thanks for your message and thanks for having registered version of the software.
The "Status Window" is designed to be exactly that purpose: to be displayed "always on top", to have visible over all other applications.
If you do not prefer this way, you may try the Sidebar Gadget: basically it provides the same level of information and works the same way (shows logical disk information for one click).
You may also try to display information directly on the Desktop (behind all other windows) by using Configuration -> Status window -> Display information on desktop (however, this displays only physical disk information as it is not clickable for logical drive information).
You may also have a hot-key combination to show/hide the Status Window, see Configuration -> Hot keys section for that (CTRL+SHIFT+F9 by default), it may help to quickly display when required and a next press hide it as well.

Re: Status window
I did try the gadget version, but it just doesn't look as nice as the status window IMO. The background is not transparent like the status bar and has the box around it. For some reason I can't get the "display information on desktop" to work. I don't see anything on the screen when I enable it with the check box. Making the gadget 20% opacity with a fixed width and small font helps so that it only really is very visible when my mouse is in the gadget. So I'll stick to the gadget version. Thanks.

Re: Status window
Thanks for the update and information, I see.
In a later version, it is possible that the status window could be set to work without the "always-on-top" feature.
If you agree, I'll immediately notify you when that version with a such option will be available.

This could be a great feature if you have a large monitor or dual monitor.
