Unable to run Hard Disk Sentinel on HBCD PE (Windows 11 PE)

Hello! I am building a 6-drive NAS and I want to test the hard drives thoroughly before use. The reviews of Hard Disk Sentinel Pro are amazing, so I bought a license.

The NAS machine will run Linux (TrueNAS), but Hard Disk Sentinel offers the surface scan feature only in the Windows version. So, I installed Hiren's Boot CD PE (Windows 11 PE) on a bootable USB stick:

then copied the portable version of Hard Disk Sentinel Pro to it.

When I boot from the USB stick and run HDSentinel.exe, I get the following error:

The code execution cannot proceed because icmp.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

However, there is an icmp.dll file (12,288 bytes) in Windows\System32\. If I copy that file to the HDSentinel.exe folder and rerun, I get a different failure:

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.

What's the trick to running the portable version of Hard Disk Sentinel Pro within HBCD PE?

It is working now. I had to find and download a 32-bit version of icmp.dll, then place it in the Hard Disk Sentinel directory.

I'm off to test some disks!

Yes, generally a 32 bit ICMP.DLL file should work (from a 32 bit Windows installation).

If this can help other users in similar situation, I uploaded two different files, any of them should work:

Thank you! Everything ran perfectly. Here is a picture of Hard Disk Sentinel Pro, running inside HBCD PE, testing all six drives at once in my little NAS mini-PC:

I submitted a request to the Hiren's BootCD PE maintainers to include the 32-bit version of icmp.dll in their image. If they agree, I will follow up here.
