I tried searching the forum, and the only topic I could find about this was over 10 years old and seemed to be the opposite issue. It looks like the program used to close entirely when the I click the X in the top right of the main window. However, now the program stays open in the system tray when doing that.
I understand why this may be the default for the usual user who installs it. However, for a user like me who uses the portable version, it's a pain. I don't need or want background monitoring. In fact, I'd like if I could disable the system tray altogether.
But, the big issue is the background running. Windows likes to hide tray icons, so I wouldn't even see it when click the X. So, it may still be running in the background when I remove the thumb drive, which I can't imagine is a good thing. Please make it an option to close the entire program upon clicking the X in the main window.
