I have configured Hard Disk Sentinel to monitor my NAS.
For security purposes, can I disable SSH on my NAS once the status source has been created? Or do I need to leave this enabled to continue monitoring the status?

Re: Disabling SSH on NAS
Generally the SSH is required only to setup the scripts: this gives the opportunity to you to adjust configuration, issue commands in the terminal etc.
But after everything configured, SSH is no longer required: Hard Disk Sentinel never uses SSH, just reads the status source file(s) shared over the network. So SSH can be disabled then - until you may need to make some changes / adjustments.
