I am looking for a new NVMe drive, and came across a statement saying Kioxia doesn't implement SMART as would normally be expected. Not being sure of the technicalities or consequences, I realised I knew someone who might know the details behind this comment, and came here!
Could you please cast any light on the subject, and tell me if Kioxia drives are not capturing important information?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Kioxia NVMe
I can confirm that this statement is completely wrong.
Kioxia NVMe SSDs in general implement SMART functions correctly, based on the NVMe standard.
But you may contact Kioxia support for confirmation too.
