Tray icons - disable

So have 14 drives and using HDS to monitor a server. 14 icons in systray is very messy, and having enabled the Status Window I would just rather get rid of the icons. I have looked for this option in the settings but it seems unavailable. Is this possible?

Yes, of course, it is possible.

Please check Configuration -> Hard Disk Drives page:
you can toggle the tray icon ON/OFF for any drive by DOUBLE CLICK on the drive.

Alternatively below the list, there is an option to "Display only the highest temperature on tray" to have only one single icon with the highest temperature value.
