ssd health that doesn't look right

Post by langona_53 »

3 years ago I bought a sandisk brand ssd and I haven't checked its health for a long time, when I checked it today, the hdsentinel program said 100%, while the manufacturer's own application and cristldiskinfo showed 76%. a total of 22.80TB of data has been written so far

The problem is always with partial screenshots that they do not show the actual Hard Disk Sentinel version, so I do not know how old it is. This may be important as the support of all drives (both older and newer) constantly added to newer and newer versions.

Now (as in similar situations) I always suggest to install the latest possible version, which is currently:

https://www.hdsentinel.com/beta6/hdsentinel_pro_setup_6107-aodu.zip

as it would probably display different results.

I also suggest to use Report menu -> Send test report to developer option in similar cases (even with the current installed and/or the latest installed), as then it is possible to check and assist.
Much better than any (partial) screenshots ;)
