SSD life drops 1% every 13 days
SSD life drops 1% every 13 days
you read that right, my Lexar 120 GB ssd life consistently drops 1% every 13 days. i have noticed this trend a few months ago and it really concerns me. i only bought this last year so kinda new.
also, this may not be a big deal but my ssd temperatures always stay at 48C ever since i've used it.
any help is very appreciated, thanks.

Yes, I can confirm that it is completely normal and expected situation: the SSD will slowly but surely degrade.
The amount of time (how long you use) is usually not relevant, the only important is HOW the SSD used: the amount of written data is important.
As you can see, 27 TBytes data already written, this is too intensive use for a 120 GB SSD. Not surprising that the health decreases so frequently.
Considering the current level, this is still high (so no need to worry) - but in order to slow down the degradation, I recommend to try to minimise writes, for example save files to hard disk drive instead.

About the temperature: your SSD has no real, working temperature sensor. To prevent displaying "?" in Hard Disk Sentinel, manufacturers sometimes do a "trick": the SSD always provides a constant temperature value (usually which seems reasonable). This is sometimes 30, 40, 48 Celsius (or may be different) but always a constant value.
