SAS disks, Short Self-tests and Operations

In HDS, I can manually run a Short Self-test on the SAS disk.

But such Short Self-tests cannot be selected in Operations.

Is that how it should be?

Yes, this is normal: currently on the Operations page, it is possible to create scheduled short/extended self tests only for SATA/IDE disk drives (or via USB adapter) but not for SCSI/SAS drives.
This may be changed in a future version.
