Hey!
I bought a new drive that is really noisy, so I talked to the reseller and got a new one and will send the noisy one back.
But since I already got some data on it I really want to wipe it clean before sending it back.
I formated the disk so its "clean" but when using Recuva I of course still can list all the files and recover most of them.
So I was hoping this program maybe could help me out and really clean it.
So, which function is the fastest that would really wipe the disk so it can´t recover any files? It´s a 10 TB disk so I´m kind of scared of starting a wiping that would take days to complete.

Hi,
Please use Disk menu -> Surface test -> Write test.
This is the fastest possible complete overwrite ("zero-fill" if you do not change overwrite pattern to other like random data, sector numbers etc.) to permanently delete all sectors. This includes all files, folders, partition info, Master Boot Record (MBR), MFT, unpartitioned space and even any partition(s) created by non-Windows systems (Linux, MAC partitions).
