Re: When to replace a drive

Generally the health % calculated for different particular devices (hard disks, SSDs, hybrid SSHD drives, memory cards, etc.) to show

- yellow warning level below 50%, when we should plan/consider replacement. Usually then the device may still working, maybe with some delays or some minor issues. In this case, it is better to plan replacement in the near future.

- red alert level below 25%, when the device has more problems and immediate replacement is recommended.

We have some clients who are very strict - and they replace even on 90% health. This depends on the actual situation: the value of the stored information, possible unforeseen costs due to data recovery/downtime etc...
Usually in companies these are much more serious than a price of a hard disk drive.

Generally 92% is not bad at all, it is displayed as "Excellent" with green color, to indicate that (even if things are not 100% perfect) the status is fine.
This is displayed on Support -> Frequently Asked Questions page: https://www.hdsentinel.com/faq.php#health

> why?

The reason (the amunt of problems and their description) always displayed in the text description on the Overview page.
