Re: No Offline Disks to Select
That window should display the hard disks previously connected to the system if they were recognised by Hard Disk Sentinel and the software collected data about them. Have you used Hard Disk Sentinel with at least one hard disk (which is not currently connected = offline) in the past?
Re: No Offline Disks to Select
There are 7 disks offline at the moment. The data for them were created by the previous version. But not one of them shows up in 3.6. I use Win7 32. I just made a trace. It has all the disks in HDSentinel.sta. But at the window where I could add the disks it is not possible to show one of them (File -> Open Status Of Offline Disks).

Re: No Offline Disks to Select
The disks should have DISKDATA_xxxxx files also (one or more for each disks) associated with them. They contain the previously saved information and details. The HDSentinel.sta file only contain very limited information, so if the DISKDATA files are missing, the data can't be displayed (of course these DISKDATA files could be created by the previous versions of the software).
Re: No Offline Disks to Select
There are for every single disk hdd and hdi files. So the diskdata files are there.
Now I have played around with the files and lost all my SMART history. Are the values stored in the registry?

Re: No Offline Disks to Select
Yes, some information also stored in the registry.
So if you have modified the files/structure, I'm afraid you may lost previous statistics.
To display only real and consistent information, the disks can be opened only if all details present.
The best way to avoid this is to use Configuration -> Update -> Save current configuration which saves all details in a single file (all current statistics, settings, etc.) which can be used to restore things if you modify / move files manually.

Now I have uninstalled it (the history data were gone anyway already) and installed it this time on drive C (before D) but still no offline data. Anything else that I could do? I am afraid not

Re: No Offline Disks to Select
I just sent an e-mail to you: it would be nice if I can check the DISKDATA files and HDSentinel.sta files (which may contain information about the HDDs saved by previous installation).
