Can’t find “Hard Disk Sentinel Tray shortcut”

I have Hard Disk Sentinel 5.01 Standard installed on Windows 10 64 bit.

I tried running HDS in "service" mode, but can’t find the Hard Disk Sentinel Tray shortcut.

The Start menu shows the Hard Disk Sentinel Group. It has
Hard Disk Sentinel
Start Service
Stop Service
Uninstall Hard Disk Sentinel

Is the HDS tray for an upgraded version of HDS? Or am I misunderstanding something?

Everything works fine in app mode (after entering admin password), but I’m running as a restricted user and don't want to always enter the admin password.

Excuse me, but the Hard Disk Sentinel Tray shortcut is available in Hard Disk Sentinel Professional version only: the standard version does not have that feature. This is why the program group does not contain that.

Standard version can be used as service mode too - but then without the opportunity to check the disk temperature from the tray.

If you prefer, it is possible to upgrade the existing standard to Pro version in a very economic way - if you are interested, please contact info (at) hdsentinel (dot) com with your existing license information.

Thank you. I suggest that the Product Comparison Guide be updated to make it clearer that HDS tray is only in Pro.

Thanks, yes, the product comparison just updated to show
"Tray icon / report in service mode with non-admin user"
feature is available in the Pro version only.

Excuse me for the troubles and confusion caused by the different versions.
Please send an e-mail with your original license, I suspect in this case I can offer a free upgrade to Pro version to allow using that function too.
