However, after intallation, the HDSentinel is not starting up at all.
I can find that DISKDATA*.hdd files are created
And I saw the following error in log.txt

My pc is running WIndows XP Home Edition SP3
Would you please suggest what stopping the software to launch?
Thanks

Hi,

It seems there was an error when the software wanted to access an icon image.
Do you have any custom skins / themes for Windows installed? This may cause that.

I recommend to please start the software with /ENABLETEST /REPORT command line switches:

HDSentinel.exe /ENABLETEST /REPORT

This enables a "test" mode which logs all detection and initialisation steps
to "testmode.txt" and "HDSentinel_3.50 PRO_report.txt" files into the folder of Hard Disk Sentinel.

Please send these files to info@hdsentinel.com as they may help to diagnose the issue.

Thanks.
I have send the log.txt and testmode.txt for your reference.
The report file is never generated

It seemed there was an issue with large DPI setting of Windows, which is now fixed. The updated version will have no problems with it ;)
