Have been running HDS for years and this is a "First" for me.
I cannot make the main window visible.
One problem is that, when I hover over the StatusBar entry and then right click on the resulting mini-window, it does not offer up a "Move" or "Resize" option.... only "Minimize"...("Restore" being greyed out).
Anybody been here?
v6.something.
"Something" because right-clicking a drive icon on the status bar and then selecting "About" gives no popup or any other kind of window... so I am guessing...

Re: How To Make Main Window Visible?
Generally, Hard Disk Sentinel shows its main window (and other sub-windows, like the About box) where previously displayed.
For example, if previously it displayed on a 2nd monitor (which may not connected now), then it is possible that now displayed outside the currently visible display. The same may happen if resolution changed.
This setting in stored in the HDSentinel.ini file with the current settings.
Installation / uninstallation does not delete this file (because many times users perform update by installation of new version to same folder, to keep settings/statistics/etc.) that's why it may not help.
Please try to
1) completely close the software by right click on the tray icon and select Exit
2) move the file HDSentinel.ini from the folder of the software to an other folder (or just rename it)
3) restart Hard Disk Sentinel
to reset the settings to factory defaults. This does not affect statistics/logs stored about the hard disks (nor the registration details) just the settings.
Hope this helps, and if you prefer, you may send the INI file to info @ hdsentinel . com as then it is possible to check what value was wrong, examine what could happen - and how to add further protection against such issue.
