I had to do a fresh install of W7 64 bit OS on my PC and which reverted the driver(s) back to the fairly useless ones that Windows provides. I have downloaded updated drivers but cant remember how to install them.
I have a folder with the following:
ahcix64s.cat
ahcix64.inf
ahcix64.msi
ahcix64.sys
I have three internal HDD's set to RAID configuration. Do I need to set them to AHCI to get these drivers to work? I dont use the HDD's in a RAID configuration, they are simply 3 separate drives with their own unique data.

Re: Updating driver for AMD to display SMART info
Hi,
Please check
http://www.hdsentinel.com/faq_amd_ahci_ ... roller.php
which describes how to install the recommended drivers from the Driver Zone page ( http://www.hdsentinel.com/driverzone.php ) for the AMD chipset.
If the drives were configured with RAID (eg. standalone but "RAID Ready") then leave the controller in RAID setting (do not switch to AHCI).
If you encounter troubles, you may use Report menu -> Send test report to developer option, as then it is possible to check the actual situation and advise.

Thank you for responding.
I've got it back to working. I just read the thread that you answered for me a couple years ago.
Thank you
