Thanks.
I'm sort of sick of the high point controller anyway (really horrible software - I will never ever buy another controller from Highpoint), so I'll probably go back to somewhat less crappy SIL controllers.

Re: Could the Report include the Volume name for each drive?
Sorry to reopen this old topic, but... As you know, the current HDS doesn't always give the correct mount points for drives. As I remember, it's a problem with lack of information from the controller driver. I just spent spent some time trying to determine which volume (mount point) corresponded to ...

Re: Could HDSentinel help debug windows spindown issues?
Thanks for the help. I will post a detailed update later, but I managed to get some SAS (LSI and Supermicro) controllers to allow disk spindown by editing the driver .inf files and/or using regedit. The details might be useful to others (especially those who use unRaid, Disk Bender, etc. with more t...

Could HDSentinel help debug windows spindown issues?
I have a number of windows 7 systems, with varying numbers of drives and controllers. Some of them spindown (windows "Turn off hard disk after...") nicely, and others never seem to spin down any disks. It would be great if HDSentinel would provide some help with understanding the problems ...

Re: Could the Report include the Volume name for each drive?
Sorry, I didn't explain my issue very well. The Partition Information at the end only lists volumes with drive letters (i.e., A: - Z:). Windows allows mounts NTFS volumes without drive letters in NTFS directories. These aren't listed in the report. Also, I have 74 disks mounted (thanks for increasin...

Could the Report include the Volume name for each drive?
It would be great if the report generator could include the volume name for each drive (i.e., the volume for the which the drive is a part of).
If the drive includes multiple volumes, I would be fine with either the first or the largest, although a list of all volumes would be best.
Thanks.

Is there a Maximum number of drives seen by HD Sentinel?
I have about 60 drives on a server but HD Sentinel only reports on 32 (0-31). Is this a bug? I'm using 3x Silicon Image 3124 (4x eSata) and 1x SIL 3132 (2x eSata) connected to a big pile of 4 and 5 slot eSata enclosures. Windows 7 works fine and sees all of the drives.
