Hard Disk Monitoring

I have 2 HP S600 SSD's that I am unable to format for some reason. I plug it into my PC and it says it needs to be formatted in order to be used. I then go and press format and it just locks up and says it cannot be formatted. I try the same thing on my Mac and it also does the same thing and locks ...

I see. I thought it was odd it worked on other disks of mine but not this one. It's probably for the better as now it's no longer detected by the computer anymore and it's dead now so that's probably for the better.

I have a WD drive that won't clear it's pending sectors even though I ran "reinitialize disk surface" test about 3 times and in different patterns. Is there any other way to clear the pending sectors?
