Hi, I learned something today - Using these tools right way around may be very important. I started the surface scan again and ran it twice. First I ran the Surface Read test for the whole drive. Thank you for your long, detailed and clear answer. Very nice of you. But I found something unusual, well it seemed unusual to me. It's a 8TB HDD and reads and writes just fine. When running the Surface Test at avg. 185MB/s looks good. It found 2 damaged sectors. One at block 1060 and the other one ...
