In the Blancco disk erase column it's wrote: Remapped Sectors and hidden area!
So it seems that Blancco writes even on remapped sectors.

But i read somewhere that some people using Blancco Disk eraser (that is reported that writes even on reallocated sectors) and Seagate unit after a complete wiping found the reallocated sector count back to 0. This with Seagate units. No idea if...

Greetings Believe me or not but yeastarday i completly resurrected an inacessible Western Digital 1TB Caviar black simply disassembly the logic board and spraying on it a WD40 contact cleaner. Problem of this drive was that contact between the logic board and the hard drive chassis were so oxidated....
