UNIDUPDOCK support
It's more like of a HW support request, but I think being HW related this should be the right place to post it. I found a HDD duplicator/external dock from Startech, UNIDUPDOCK, "USB to IDE SATA Standalone HDD Hard Drive Duplicator Dock". I want to know if those are supoorted -before- buyi...

Re: Unable sort/order properly tray temperature icons
What about ONLY showing/hiding/updating the icons, WITHOUT any kind of order, letting the OS take care of it? I mean, if HDS has no means of actual control over the order of the icons, shouldn't we try to see how the OS performs (without "interference")? I suppose the OS is able to disting...

Re: Unable sort/order properly tray temperature icons
I'm having the same issue too. I have a bunch of icons in the tray, and I noticed HDS ones sometime change place. For example I usually put them like this: C, D, E; but I find them moved like D, C, E, and somethime a couple of them insist being not separated. I't strange. Also, I keep the external d...

Re: HDS "locks" external HDD
Oh, I noticed I didn't answer to your previous post, seems like I missed the notification. Let's fix it. 1. There is indeed the "autorun.inf" file in the root directory (true for all my usb HDDs and Pendrives), I use it for ease of identification: they contain just the icon entry, and said...

Re: HDS "locks" external HDD
I just have a small update, nothing big. I noticed that if I am using an external USB HDD and I launch HDS -after- I used the HDD I can unplug with no "drive in use" message. So if HDS is not active active when the external USB HDD is plugged but it's started after that the issue doesn't a...

Re: HDS "locks" external HDD
I tried with other version, reinstalls, portable versions... I still have the issue. I can't figure out what's happening.
Well, nothing more I can do on my side I suppose.
I'll have to shut down HDS before unplugging, a bit of an hassle but at least I know what it is.

Re: HDS "locks" external HDD
This is puzzling... Too bad I have only those RED HDD drives + VERBATIM enclosures so I can't check with anything else... I could try to disable the mobo special asus USB3 driver, but you had the issue yourself so I don't think it's that. Maybe I could try to removing HDS completely and start with a...

Re: HDS "locks" external HDD
I checked disabling detection of USB and SCSI drives, but nothing changes?
Could it be HDs is actually locking the volumes/partitions?

Re: HDS "locks" external HDD
Hi, thanks for your answer. 1) detection frequency is the default 5 min. 2) settings are stored in the default directory (never configured, I see data files in progran directory). 3) installed in C: and run from there. I can trigger the issue 100% of the time, I just need to plug the HDD with HDS ac...

HDS "locks" external HDD
I don't really know if it's a bug, but I will report this anyway. I have some external USB3 HDD enclosures (Verbatim) and I noticed that when I try to "safely remove" them while HDS is runnin (tray icon) I -always- am told the disk are busy. Well, they are not used by anything that I know ...

Re: Menu color issue
Tested.
Menu highlight are fine now, there's only one small thing left.
This is how the main menu looks before clicking: This is how the main menu looks after clicking: Couldn't find anything else out of place (colors I mean).

I just found now.

Re: Menu color issue
It is indedde much better than before, the only annoyance are the highlits/selections. Here's an example of how a menu looks now: beta.png A menu in Notepad++ appears like this: np.png Anyway, even if it's not perfect, it's stil la lot better than before, at least one can now read the whole menu ite...

Re: Menu color issue
Thanks. In case you need it, I attached how the right click menu looks, which is how menus are supposed to appear system wise. Here's the link to the theme in case it's needed: http://solmiler.deviantart.com/art/Placebo-for-Windows-7-188414149 FYI, those themes are not signed, so you can't load them...

Menu color issue
Not really a bug, probably something related to the dark theme I'm using on windows . I have white gradient menu, both program menus and tray menu are "affected". See attached pics. It doesn't happen on the OS menus, so I guess it can be fixed. Does it depends on what colors are picked by ...
