Interface Overahul

Not to be picky or diminish the quality of the software but it's it about time for a complete interface overhaul that isn't so busy and overwhelming?

Generally, the compatibility, detection and reporting of information (especially in special conditions, for example when RAID controllers, internal/external RAID devices used) is the most important - and this uses high amount of resources.

But I completely agree that it would be nice to re-design the user interface (or at least improve it), to help users and improve displaying the information.
According the responses, most users like the ability to show everything quickly and access the information by the current design (so I worry a bit about a complete re-design).

I'm collecting any ideas, recommendations to consider them in a such update of the user interface, so if you have any concrete, specific ideas/thoughts, please send me in e-mail to info (@) hdsentinel (.) com

Feel free let me know what do you think: how it would be the best to show information, the level of details, options.
If you can send some draft image(s) to illustrate, that would be the best - and would be surely considered during re-design.
Just do not say "see xy software and make like that" - as it is not preferred to copy
